ప్రారంభం
1980 మే 10న విజయవాడలో జన్మించిన వెన్నెల కిషోర్, JNTU హైదరాబాదు నుండి B.Tech పూర్తి చేసి సాఫ్ట్వేర్ ఇంజినీర్గా 2003-04లో పని. దేవ కట్టా దర్శకత్వంలో 'వెన్నెల' (2005)లో సహాయ పాత్రకు ఎంపికయ్యి, చిత్రం హిట్ అవ్వడంతో ఆయన టైటిల్గా 'వెన్నెల' పేరుతో పిలుచుకున్నారు.

2010ల చివరిలో నుండి ఆధునిక తెలుగు హాస్య సినిమాలో అత్యధికంగా బుక్ చేయబడిన నటుడు. 'క్షణం' (2016), 'F2' (2019), 'F3' (2022), 'డియర్ కామ్రేడ్' (2019), 'జయం రవి' (2019), 'మహాశ్మష్టం' (2019), 'భీమ్లా నాయక్' (2022), 'వకీల్ సాబ్' (2021), 'రామా బాణం' (2023) — 60+ చిత్రాల్లో సహ-నటుడు. ఆయన ఒన్-లైనర్ + టైమింగ్-బేస్డ్ హాస్యం ఆధునిక తెలుగు మాస్ సినిమా రెజిస్టర్లో ముఖ్య పాత్ర.

Origins
Born 10 May 1980 in Vijayawada, he holds a B.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad and worked as a software engineer in 2003-04 before being cast by director Deva Katta in 'Vennela' (2005). The character was such a hit that the title of the film became his on-screen name.
Peak Years
From the late 2010s onward, he has been the most-booked comic-character actor in modern Telugu cinema. 'Kshanam' (2016), 'F2' (2019), 'F3' (2022), 'Dear Comrade' (2019), 'Bheemla Nayak' (2022), 'Vakeel Saab' (2021), 'Rama Banam' (2023) — north of 60 features in supporting roles, almost always as the one-line-comedy specialist whose timing and facial control elevate a short scene into the most-quoted moment of the film.
Steadiness
His style — exquisite comic timing, a face capable of generating entire scenes in a single beat — has earned him the rare reputation of being able to land a punchline in a 30-second cameo. He has occasionally crossed over into Tamil and Malayalam productions in guest comic-character roles. He is now the default first-call comedic-character pick for most A-grade Telugu producers.
