చైల్డ్ ఆర్టిస్ట్ నుండి హీరోగా
1983 జనవరి 4న హైదరాబాదులో జన్మం. 6 సంవత్సరాల వయసులో 'భారతం లో ఒక అమ్మాయి' (1989)తో చైల్డ్ ఆర్టిస్ట్గా ఎంట్రీ. 2001లో తేజ దర్శకత్వంలో 'నువ్వు నేను'తో హీరోగా అరంగేట్రం — తొలి సినిమాకే భారీ హిట్.
పీక్ యుగం
'నువ్వు నేను' (2001), 'మనోహరం' (2002), 'శ్రీ ఆంజనేయం' (2004), '7G బృందావన్ కాలనీ' (2004 — తమిళ హిట్గానూ), 'ధన ధన ధ' (2003) — యూత్ రొమాంటిక్ హీరోగా ముద్ర. చిత్రాంగదా సింగ్, శ్రియా శరణ్, నికీత తదితర హీరోయిన్లతో మంచి జంట.
తరువాత
2010ల్లో కథలో ఎన్నికల్లో జాగ్రత్త పెంచారు. 'జీవి కథ' (2019), 'ఇది మాయ' (2024) వంటి స్వీయ-నిర్మాణాలు. తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకుల జ్ఞాపకాల్లో 2000ల యూత్-రొమాంటిక్ చిత్రాల ముఖంగా.

From Child Artist to Lead
Born 4 January 1983 in Hyderabad. Entered cinema aged 6 in 'Bharatamlo Oka Ammayi' (1989) as a child artist. Adult-lead debut came with director Teja's 'Nuvvu Nenu' (2001) — an immediate massive hit.
Peak Years
'Nuvvu Nenu' (2001), 'Manoharam' (2002), 'Sri Anjaneyam' (2004), and '7G Brundavan Colony' (2004 — which also became a Tamil hit) made him the defining face of the early-2000s Telugu romantic youth-lead wave. He paired with Shriya Saran, Sneha, Nikita and others.
Later
From the 2010s onward he has chosen more selectively, including self-produced projects ('Jeevi Katha', 2019; 'Idi Maaya', 2024). For Telugu audiences he remains synonymous with the 2000s romantic-youth lead.
